Aspiring Screenwriter!

Hello all!

My name is Rishabh and I live in San Francisco, California. I have a background in tech and engineering, and I currently work in the field of Robotics and A.I.

Even though my professional work uses a different side of the brain, I remember from my school days that writing was always kind of a hidden talent of mine, and, growing up, I loved watching movies and thinking about what makes a movie great versus not so great XD.

What really motivated me to take the leap into screenwriting was realizing from my observations of people, social interactions, and events that there was so much going on underneath the surface than anything that was said or acknowledged. Every moment with ourselves or with others involves a myriad of thoughts, emotions, connections between ideas, significant choices, untold secrets, and many other things that are all invisible to the human eye but have a very real and powerful effect in those lives.

I decided that one of my missions in life will be to bring these things to the surface and make all these things that are invisible, visible to anyone and anywhere in an easy to understand, intricate, beautiful, and entertaining way through storytelling and screenwriting.

I look forward to meeting you all and communicating and supporting each other in our respective journeys.

Thank you,

Rishabh

Hi Rishabh. Good luck on your writing journey. You have a great attitude, and you already bring great attributes. Being eternally curious and asking 'what if' will always move stories forward. One particular way I challenge my own writing is to try and move the reader emotionally. It's not usually easy, but always worth it.

Thanks Tracy, appreciate it! Yes, I completely agree on moving the reader emotionally. That will be a core area of focus in my work.

Its always great to read a script from a creative that understands these depths that characters and people have. Don't shy away from it and best of luck to you!

Rishabh Kumar

Thanks Ewan! Appreciate it and best of luck to you in your work as well!
