Hello. I've only just found this site thanks to my delayed foray into Instagram. I've returned to writing after an almost 20-year hiatus, having put aside my screenwriting aspirations in my early 20s to concentrate on earning a living. Late last year I was cleaning out my filing cabinet when I came across a pile of half-completed scripts and synopses, and had the very bizarre sensation of realising I'd forgotten having ever written them! This gave me the added thrill of reading them with no idea how the stories would play out. I was oddly - and pleasantly - surprised. So my passion has been rekindled, and I'm currently working on a script for a short film titled OUTMODE, which I'm hoping to have ready for possible production in 2017. I'm a commercial artist and designer, and I'm pursuing my writing passion with no expectation of a career change, but simply to achieve one of the goals held over from my former life, pre-career/marriage/kids/adult responsibility. In case you're interested, I have a Facebook page set up for progress updates on my OUTMODE project (www.facebook.com/operationoutmode). It's a little quiet there at the moment, and will remain so until the writing is complete and I move on to more visually interesting aspects of the project, such as concept art and pics of me rubbing shoulders with big name producers begging me for the filming rights.
