Introduce Yourself : Hello from the Pacific NW! by Ed Hartman

Ed Hartman

Hello from the Pacific NW!

I hope everyone is well and enjoying the Spring weather.

As a composer, I am creating scores and tracks for film and TV. (I have a free newsletter and resources: https://edhartmanmusic.com/resources-for-composers-and-songwriters).

As a producer, I am finishing up prepping a DVD/Blu-Ray for https://www.astheearthturns.com/ (produced and composed). I'm working with a DVD author, graphic artist, and a 5.1 engineer. The film is on Amazon, etc. (Indie Rights) and will be on Turner Classic Movies. It's a very fun 45-min silent sci-fi, by a filmmaker who went on to work for Disney and direct an Academy Award-winning documentary. I have done a few recent showings of the film (virtual and in-person!) A documentary (see trailer) about the filmmaker that I just finished will be on the disk and is in a big festival run. I am working on a biopic about the filmmaker. https://vimeo.com/407707133

If you are a filmmaker with an active project in distribution, I would love to hear from you for my podcast. There are 12 episodes out now, and I will be starting to record my next season soon. (Zoom)
