The crowdfunding site for an international coproduction feature film “Performing KAORU’s Funeral” that I am challenging with the MIKACO SHIMOEDA Producer has launched.
This project itself is a full-length film of the original script that created on 2017, and since last year it has been prepared. A really difficult situation for both the world and Japan due to the corona whirlpool, but we would like to continue working while trying to make new films without giving up.
New feature film "Performing KAORU's Funeral" an independent Japanese film based on the real experience of losing my friend. Set in a Japanese funeral, and will bring Japanese film to a level of artwork with its beautifully controlled color tones. Also now that we can't say goodbye, I trust to need expressing the universal theme.
