Introduce Yourself : Hi from Florida :) by Debbie Fasenmyer

Hi I'm Debbie. I grew up just outside of Chicago and miss it so much. I have been living in SWFL since the late 80's. I love theme park magic and get to Orlando as often as I can. I am a mixed media artist. I spend a decade as a visual display merchandiser and two decades in the holistic wellness industry. I am passionate about mental health awareness. I am a nationally certified mental health first aider for youth and adults. I am working on several projects that combine art and healing including a book about self love. I am passionate about plant based eating and love to create art using natural pigments from food, spices, plants and flowers. I am working on a live performance idea as well as workshops I'd like to host. The goal is to start hosting pop up events. I'd love to work with vegan chefs, artists, musicians and performers that share my love of pop culture and the planet. I love to support other creative individuals by sharing what they are working on. I love making how to videos on social media. Topics range from decorating tips, to retro fashion, healthful ideas and easy DIY tips and tricks. Back in the day, I painted murals, worked stage crew, made props, decorated floats, designed display windows and so much more. I'm excited to get back to my creative roots. I'm just trying to put the pieces together. I have so many ideas. I love to write and I'd love to start a podcast. I also want to raise funds and awareness for causes I am passionate about through events. As a former wedding coordinator and party planner I have hosted over 100 events.
