My background is from advertising/marketing and gymnastics and Martial Arts. Bilingual: English and Spanish/Mexican-American (With a kick of Italian and French. Ask my grandparents, who also believed in inclusion, for which I'm living evidence ). I'm a story developer/screenwriter, producer, director, cinematographer, actor, and I do my own stunts, regardless of the tittle I carry in a production. Given the number of hats I sometimes carry in a production, one might think I have a multi personality disorder. I love how story development/writing possesses your imagination, and take you to universes, worlds, places where you meet imaginary characters, that give a roller coaster of emotions. It's funny how I can get so deep into a story that I'm creating, that it makes me laugh, cry, anxious, inspired, or terrified by what's happening in my stories. I am aware of what's said about poly-writers creators, that it will be harder for us to break in the industry, that one must write for only "one" genre; but I am a freedom-writer. I create/develop/write drama, horror, thrillers, comedy, dramedies, action or action-comedy projects, for the sensation of freedom it gives me as I develop/write an animated or live action narrative project, as I'm trapped in my own life/problems. I believe that's one of the purposes of what we do. Help people escape from the realities of their messy lives, give them hope, inspire them, to make changes to better their lives or the world. I dedicate my life and career to my father, who I just recently lost to the Covid (and I barely made it alive). He was my father, best friend, mentor, hero, and the biggest supporter of my dreams. He gave me the very foundation of what makes a lot of the projects that I create. There are others who contributed to who I am and what I know. Non of you will be forgotten. Just wait and see... Yes, this comp card is a little old and I need to get back in to shape, because life and the Covid have not been kind. You might remember me by this look if I met you on set. So, what have you been up to since then?? Haha As you can read I'm quite entertaining, but isn't that the WHOLE POINT of the ENTERTAINMENT industry?? ; ) From L.A. or Atlanta, UK, Australia, Mumbai, Dubai, México, etc. I'm ready for ACTION! I'm twice Pfizer Covid vaccinated with an awkward sense of humor, not by side effect of the vaccine. What else could you aks for?? : ) Currently stuck in Miami, ready to escape this RED State for good! I am looking for executive producers or Studios to adopt some of my projects (and me!), and to network. Although I develop/write mostly for animation and narrative features, I will be making a documentary about my father's life and death, "My Father's Killers, The Tony Betancourt Story". My father was a Mexican National Gymnastics coach for almost ten years, a few years back. Gymnastics was his life until he was taken from us. He was purposely exposed to the Covid by his privileged supremacist bosses, who were expecting this outcome.

Hey, J. Edward Betancourt! So glad to have you in the community! WHA?! What is your martial art of choice? Mine are Aikido, Judo, Jujitsu, Karate, Tai Chi (in order of most knowledgeable to least).
Wow, what an interesting documentary, and congratulations on moving forward with a project that is so deeply personal. Are you still developing it or are you ready to start pitching it to executives?
Karen "Kay" Ross, thank you! MMA, Tae Kwon Do, Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Boxing, Krav Maga, Judo, Extreme Tricking, Weaponry, Capoeira, Wrestling, etc. As for the documentary, everything is structured and heading to court to hold them accountable for their crimes, which there were quite a few.
