Wanted to take part in this weekend and re-introduce myself. I've been part of the community for many years now, but took a long hiatus from this space. I have been working generously as a set decorator, production designer, and set dresser on many films throughout the years. Most notable would be the Wrong Turn reboot that released last year, and a short film called The German King, which has earned many many accolades across its festival run, which also earned me a best production design win.
I have been sidelining the writing for a long time and haven't made money from the writing yet. Design and decoration has been my main source of income, and I do love the artistic departments. Currently, I have been going full force at the writing and no longer letting it take a back seat. I am balancing design with writing now, and have many scripts complete and in development. I write every day and have a plethora of ideas underway.
Currently, my short script REGENESIS, a sci-fi piece, has started a festival run, and out of over the 30 festivals to which it's currently submitted, it has earned a win and selection from a few already.
I do not know if my credits have yet imported from Imdb, but searching Stephonika on the database will be easy if you want to look me up. I'm the only Stephonika there. Cheers, and hope to meet some amazing folks as I continue my journey here.

Nice to meet you, Stephonika W. Kaye. Congrats on the win and the selections! The poster for "REGENESIS" looks great. Are most of your scripts Sci-Fi?
