Introduce Yourself : It's A Wonderful Life! by Jeanine Bartelt

Way back in college I dreamed of performing but, as I was a musician/psychology major, I felt it would be through music. However, I married an actor/puppeteer who opened the theater performance arts to me and we began a 41 year adventure side by side. Our three adult daughters are also involved in the arts; the oldest in graphic arts, the second is a published author who loves to work in film, and the youngest has a BFA in acting/theater arts. Our daughters traveled with us the 18+ years we performed throughout the U.S. doing live shows and working in film. We are now in a new season of life and pursuing another dream by producing a puppet show we've wanted to do for many years as well as launching a children's film series. I also costume shows locally, using recycled fabrics to help keep costs down for my budget conscious directors. I am always wanting to learn new techniques and expand my skill base. I am interested in what others are doing in the performing arts and have found Stage 32 a fascinating place to meet (virtually) others who share the same interests. Who knows, maybe some of you out there will become more than just part of my virtual network and actually work with us on one of our future projects....I hope so!
