Jeff W. Horton-Author and Screenwriter-of-Friendly Science-Fiction And Apocalyptic Fiction

Hello Everyone! I've been on Stage 32 for about a year now and I've met some great folks during that time! I'm currently looking for filmmakers to work with who'd be interested in adapting my science-fiction and/or my apocalyptic novels to film. I've already adapted one of my novels, Cybersp@ce, into a screenplay, and I plan to adapt the other two in that series once I find filmmakers interested in producing them. You can learn more about me and my novels at www.hortonlibrary.com. Whether you're new here or not, I'm glad you're here! This is a great place to explore opportunities that would not have been possible before Stage 32. Enjoy! Jeff W. Horton Novelist and Screenwriter

Hey Jeff, thanks for checking in. Looking forward to seeing some more adaptations!

Laurie Kehoe

Hello Jeff nice to know about you. I too am a Christian Fiction author working on my first novel (actually have three written but co-author husband, Mike Kehoe, is putting his touches on the first one. It's urban fantasy, the third is scary space aliens! The stories are dark at times but all faith based to show Christ's love. Hope to "see" you around!

Jeff W. Horton

HI Laurie. Welcome, and all the best with your novels! I too have read several of Ted Dekkers novels, which I enjoyed for the same reasons. I hope more will follow in our footsteps and hopefully, some great films will one day be made based on some of them. I recall "Next" reminded me somewhat of Dekker's "Blink", though I'm not sure the films is quite as good.

Laurie Kehoe

He posted on Facebook that his book Hackers is under consideration for film. I would love to read yours as well. There are just not enough Christian authors willing to venture out into the darkness. I am excited to meet another one like me. Thank you so much for your post. I am greatly encouraged.

Jeff W. Horton

I've certainly enjoyed a number of his novels. I think Blink and Blessed Child would make great films. I look forward to reading one of your novels, Laurie!

Richard "RB" Botto

Always good to see you, Jeff. Great introduce yourself post. Thanks for all the kind words regarding Stage 32 as well. Cheers.

Virginia Mckevitt

Hey there Jeff. Glad to see you here!

Laurie Kehoe

Jeff, will be getting The Great Collapse on Friday. Can't wait to read it and the sequels! You will be great inspiration for me to finish mine!

Jeff W. Horton

Thanks, Richard. You're most welcome. I really like it here on Stage 32 and I feel like it's just a matter of time before I make the right connections to make some great films!

Jeff W. Horton

Hi Virginia. It's great to see you here as well!

Jeff W. Horton

Thanks, Laurie, I really appreciate that. I hope you enjoy them!

Laurie Kehoe

I'm sure I will. I will get the next ones once I finish the first. I will let you know when we finish ours and if you are still interested in reading it, I'd love to get your feedback.

Jeff W. Horton

You bet, please do!

Laurie Kehoe

Thank you so much!!!!

Laurie Kehoe

Have you read Eric Wilson's Jerusalem Undead series? Very good

Jeff W. Horton

Hi Laurie. No, I haven't. I'll take a look though to see what it's about, thanks!

Laurie Kehoe

I think you'll find them right along with Dekker

Laurie Kehoe

Jeff, should have the book done in a week. What's the best way to get it to you?

Laurie Kehoe

Got The Great Collapse and the Way of Nacor. If you are still willing to read mine, I sent it to the email on your web page. I really appreciate you taking the time and letting me know what you think.
