I've been immersed in movie love & movie lore since I can remember (hence "movie autist"). I have published books about it and have many scripts that gather dust. Let's face it, there is so much supply and so little demand that chances are we won;t ever see our scripts made into films unless we do it ourselves. I filmed one (Beauty Fool) back in 2003, and it was a blast. Working with people on a shared goal is what life is all about.
So I know I can do it, and I have one particular script that I am so in love with that I am willing to go out on a limb to find other creative souls who want to get involved in a passion-project, and who respond to the material. Hence I have shown up here, looking for inspiration and support: writers, directors and (esp.) producers, actors and camera-people who might help this to happen. Let me know if you are interested, and feel free to share your own work and inspiration and aspirations with me.

Hey Jasun Horsley! You can absolutely do it! I actually think the demand for content is endless, so then it's just about finding the right people to champion the project with you! You're definitely in the right place to find those people. If you'd like help choosing an executive to pitch to or read your script, shoot me an email at success@stage32.com and I can recommend some to you!

Welcome to the Stage 32 community, Jasun Horsley! We're so excited to have you here!
The best way to network here on Stage 32, is just to put yourself out there by posting, commenting, and connecting with people from all over the world. The most effective networking comes from building genuine relationships over time.
To echo Niki's great advice, you should check out the Screenwriting & Filmmaking Lounges where you can join in on discussions, pose questions that you may have, provide advice or insights, and share news/announcements that interest you.
You can find the lounges through the toolbar at the top of your browser window. Simply click on "Lounge", which will direct you to a new page listing all of the current lounges available to you. Then select "Screenwriting" or "Filmmaking/Directing". I hope to see you over there!
