It's been a while since I've been on this site, and thought that maybe a reintroduction is in order.
I'm based right now in Berkeley, California.
I'm a still photographer, artist, and writer (creative non-fiction and other things, my own narration scripts for youtubes, stuff like that). I was working on a script when I introduced myself the last time, but I've put it on the back burner.
I also love doing background and extra work. Would I like to have some lines? Maybe - but I'm not driven that way. I would love to find an ensemble to work with. I love being on sets, both small and large. Covid sort of put a squash on that work, but I'm hoping more projects come to Northern California in the coming year.
My interests are sci-fi (not the blow'em up, aliens are evil kind of sci-fi, but lighter stuff or headier stuff: Star Treks, Stargate and Brad Wright projects, Travelers, Firefly, Eureka, the shorts on the DUST channel, etc.) and ensemble drama or witty sharp comedy.
Looking to connect with a tribe in the Bay Area, or people who are keen on working remotely.

Glad to see you reconnect, Kimberley. There are some areas that have in-person meetups. You should be able to find one in or close to the Bay Area in the search bar. :)

Hi Kimberly! What projects are you working on next?

I have no projects at the moment - other than fiddling around with my youtube channel. I'm looking for projects I might collaborate on ... whether that is reading scripts for people or doing background work ...

Amazing! There are definitely a lot of people looking for script reads on here ALSO, if you're in the Writers' Room, I would recommend joining me in the Coverage Report, it's a ton of fun
Welcome back, Kimberly Kradel. Glad you were able to introduce yourself during the last Introduce Yourself Weekend of 2022! :D I write Sci-Fi. Grounded Sci-Fi, the "blow'em up, aliens are evil" Sci-Fi," the "lighter stuff" Sci-Fi, and the "headier stuff" Sci-Fi. :)
