Hello everyone. I run a small film and production company in near Tampa, Florida. So far we've done four self-funded short films for some timed film competitions but in 2014 we'll be doing both timed competitions and our own scheduled productions. I'll be self-funding most of them but also doing a little fundraising in 2014 for the loose ends. We also recently switched from digital filmmaking to motion picture film and I think 2014 will be an amazing year for our films. While none of our timed film competition film projects are paid productions, our own scheduled film productions usually are. We are also looking to form a small film collective of easy going people who are resourceful, enthusiastic and work well with others. Feel free to check out all of our upcoming projects for 2014! Are you accepting any short scripts for your production company?
Laurie, I'm tied up working on my own scripts (2 docs, a art film and a narrative short) while working on commercial productions right now. I'm always open to reviewing and advising on other folk's projects, so hit me up if I can add to your ideas.
I'm usually willing to read and consider scripts from others, Laurie. I don't have any issue with that, however I do look for scripts with some kind of underlying social message no matter what package it comes wrapped in. :)
