With thanks to Amanda for the prompt on my Orson Welles post. I read this letter to us, the community at Stage32, and thought it would be good to remind us of why we are here and how it all began. Thank you “RB”!
It begins:
“On the morning of June 29th, 1940, Orson Welles stood at the center of what is now Stage 32 on the Paramount lot and yelled, "Action!" The very first scene for RKO 281, better known as Citizen Kane, was underway.”

I've read the Stage 32 Mission Statement a few times, Geoff Hall. Stage 32 has a great backstory. It's incredible what RB has built. Stage 32 is the most encouraging, inspiring, and motivating creative community I've been part of, and I haven't been on any other platform that has access to the industry like Stage 32 has.

What Maurice said! I have never seen anything like this community and the people who work for Stage 32. They care and it shows! Everyone is so kind and active. It's well documented I got my representation here, but RB and his team have helped me with education and other big opportunities I've never gotten anywhere else. Also just by being supportive. The people here though. Wow. There's no hate, anger, vitriol like you see on other sites. Everyone is helpful and kind and the world needs that right now.

Entirely grateful for all the support here, guys! Thank you, Geoff, for starting the thread. The mission has been the same from Day One and has only intensified through the years. We will continue on our mission to democratize the industry and level the playing field for all creatives and pros on this platform serious about forging a long lasting career in this business.
But as I always say, the community makes the platform, and this community is the greatest on the planet. You all rock!
