I began as a stage actor, working primarily in the New England area, and I still do two or three shows a year; I also do the occasional on-camera commercial or day-player rôle in film. These days, though, I am mostly a voice actor, doing narrations and character v/os for corporate clients and for broadcast (almost all PBS), plus the odd radio spot. Strongly union, I am a proud member of AEA and the newly-merged (finally!) SAG-AFTRA.
HI Peter, I too am a vo girl, but lately the vo market has slowed. Have been sent on Spanish vo's funny enough now they want Mexican accents. LMAO.

Where are you working, Mara? There are people in New England who do Spanish v/os, and I might be able to connect you with them. (Not that you have to be where the work is anymore!)
