Reading of "Ye-Xian: The Chinese Cinderella"

So we're getting ready for our last rehearsal of "Ye-Xian: The Chinese Cinderella" tomorrow (I'm the playwright) before our tech rehearsal on Saturday at the Chinese American Museum of Chicago. Performance is later Saturday April 30th at 1:30pm on the 4th Floor. There's a lot to get ready between now and then, and it's all finally starting to hit me that it's happening..!

Ticket sales are coming along (www.eventbrite.com) and in the meantime we've found out that Illinois State Representative Teresa Mah, 25th Ward Alderman Byron Sigcho-Lopez and newly appointed 11th Ward Alderman Nicole Lee will be among our honored guests for this event...

How cool! Congratulations, and let us know how it goes!

It went well. Full house and a lot of laughs from the audience, many in places I hadn't thought of... :)
