I am trying to acquire an office space for a shooting location for an independent short web series. 90% of the 12 short series is in a corporate america setting with desks board room and cubicle spaces. Does anyone have any suggestion on how to find and secure a shooting location for a project like this. Any advice is appreciated.

EASY! Since you are in Durham, North Carolina, go to your local commercial real estate brokers ---- they have office listings (and keys). See what you can work out in exchange for giving the firm a credit.

That would be a great "barter" situation, No Le! Source local commercial real estate offices that are independently owned first -- before you hit the national chains. Commercial real estate agents always need a video for a property they are listing; they'll jump at your offer -- -- and you'll probably get steady (paying) work, too. Win-win.

Many years ago I was given a piece of advice that each year seems more and more true. You never know for sure until you ask. If you don't ask if you can negotiate doing some free ad video work for them as payment there is no way for you to know.
