Thank you so much for this blog, Keely Kemp! Production accounting is the financial backbone of every production and it's super important that producers and filmmakers understand this critical role before, during and after production.
And if you want to work in the industry, it is such a valuable skill set - according to dozens of film commissions I have spoken with recently, there simply are not enough production accountants for the volume of work that exists in most places. That's one of the reasons Stage 32 Certification is currently being used to train Production Accountants all around the world right now.
