Hi Everyone, I’m putting together a production team for the creation of my next short film. Ideally, I’d like to hire one company that can subcontract all of the other players i.e. the cinematographer, slate person, sound person, etcetera. Also, I’d like this company to be able to subcontract the post production editing and the creation of marketing materials i.e. movie posters for web usage, film festival submissions, and things of that nature. The is an on-location shoot which will be filmed over the course of two days in Newport Beach, California. Any suggestions and input would be greatly appreciated! Lucas

You're in LA, look locally. Are you trying to assemble a worthy crew for yourself or you willing to be an EP - in which case all you need is money. My humble opinion (worth what you pay for it) is that you build your own crew for this and future productions.

Hey, Lucas Kastner! How goes the assembling?
If you haven't met her yet, I think you should reach out to Diane Foster. She's a producer with her own production company in LA and she definitely already has her players she can easily go to. The best way to reach her may be on IG: https://www.instagram.com/dianefosterofficial/
If you don't need a producer, but just a director/dp who can hire their own crew, then definitely hit up Valentina Vee: https://www.instagram.com/valentina.vee/ She also does post-production, so she'd be a great resource for your project. I hope that helps!
