Producers or Filmmakers in San Diego?

Just moved back to SD. We have formed a Development fund and have a few projects in search of a solid producer. Obviously, we're not limiting ourselves to producers in San Diego just because I live here but I'm curious to see what industry people are south of LaLa Land? :)

Yey for you! What type of producer are you looking to bring on? Is there financing and distribution attached? Any name talent for your product?

On the hunt for a producer? Keep this in mind... The million dollar question is often what is the role of a producer. There are what I call PRE-PRODUCERS (which develop material and make it better and ready for actors and filmmakers to see before it's too early) and actual ACTIVE PRODUCER (which have the relationships with talent and the agencies and can actually pack and put things together to get them made.) And PHYSICAL PRODUCERS which are everything from a Unit Production Manager to a line producer who just over seas actual physical production but not necessarily the talent or the pieces of making it happen before a director calls action. Then there are some MONEY PRODUCERS. People that know how to too any of the above or just people that have access to money and get get the project financed. Hope that helps someone.
