Hello from San Antonio! As I devote more time to participating in Mohawk teachings hosted on Zoom (I'm First Nations in Canada) and preparing to pitch a historical fiction project focusing on the Comanche people of the 1850's and their battles with Texas settlers, I want to expand my professional circle of Indigenous writers, producers, and others and anyone else interested in telling the stories of Native peoples throughout North America.

Hey, Marc! Good on you for wanting to connect with indigenous creatives. I'm not, but I have a similar interest. Our proposed TV series has a strong indigenous vein, and we've got a mandate to keep it authentic.

Thanks for reaching out, Marc Isaacs! I would suggest keeping the link to this post handy so that if you meet anyone who might be interested in collaborating, you can keep all parties talking here. Just a thought ;-)
Here's the link, just in case: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/producing/Searching-for-Indigenous-Writer... (SO META!)

Marc Isaacs and Sharon Round Have y'all heard of For Freedoms? I worked a gig with them earlier this year and I think they'd be a great resource for y'all: https://forfreedoms.org/
They are working with Thrive Unltd, a collective working to empower Indigenous communities, on their current billboard campaign: https://thriveunltd.com/
