He's got projects and 2 small kids (i.e. no spare time)
I check in every once in a while. He apologizes for the delay, and I know he'll read it (eventually)
Patience: just as important as persistence

Yeah, life happens and a lot of times we'll bite off more than we can chew in this industry, but any time someone's willing to read your script like this, it's gotta be on their terms. Patience is so key to maintaining positive relationships
