Screenwriting : Chopping Loglines by Ray Fine

Chopping Loglines

Hi everyone! I'm a pro-copywriter turned screenwriter and I have a special set of skills. Cutting unnecessary words. Every word matters and if you're having difficulty shortening your logline - send it my way! I may not be able to answer everyone - but I'm happy to help! Mush love!

Love it @Ray! One of the main things many writers struggle with is word economy. Especially in loglines, which are one of the primary selling points for all scripts. It's the first thing any exec typically looks at before deciding whether a story's worth the time to investing reading. So it's gotta be sharp and contain a clean hook!

Ray, you're the best my friend.

Hi Ray Fine! Good stuff! The great sci fi author Rebecca Meluch once told me: "write like you have to pay for every word you use".

Love your energy Ray! Keep chopping up those loglines and paying it forward! Best of luck to everyone :-)
