I've been a wallflower on this service for a while now, thought I'd have a go at the Writer's Room for a month. I think this is how you post to the screenwriting lounge. #middleagedpeople using technology;
I do know how to write good screenplays, but I'm not great at marketing myself - much better at doing this for my students and other people. Would appreciate any tips! lol

Hi, Dale Thain. Something that could help you market yourself is making a 30-second elevator pitch. Check out Sandra Correia's blog (www.stage32.com/blog/how-networking-can-be-a-game-changer-for-screenwrit...).

Dale Thain, I’m so glad you’re jumping in. This is such a supportive and resourceful space for writers at every stage of their journey.
Since you’re a new Writer’s Room member, I’d definitely recommend clicking on the red box that says “Writer’s Room” in the top right corner of your browser when you’re on Stage 32. That will take you to your personal Writer’s Room portal. There you’ll find all of the exclusive resources: pitch templates, feedback opportunities, recorded sessions, monthly schedule, and more.
And you’re not alone, so many writers feel more comfortable promoting others than marketing themselves. But just being active here, sharing your work, and connecting with the community is already a great step in building confidence and visibility.
Can’t wait to see what you create and contribute while you’re here!
