Hi I'm in the beginning stages of screenwriting that will be based on a book of my life. So I'm not sure which one should I finish first and the best way to form on paper
I go back and forth with that. Because I'm not sure I would be able to do the book if I did it after script. I know both is work and takes time but which one would be more marketable in the industry at this point In time?
As for the script market, I'll need to know some things about your script: genre, estimated budget (micro budget, low budget, middle budget, or high budget), the number of locations (estimate), and the topic of your script.
You can message me those things if you don't wanna share them publicly yet.
Kimela Morgan Hi Kimela, it’s great to meet you in the Screenwriting Lounge.
Marketability. Well, I think I’d ask where do you have the best network that can help promote your work?
Books. There are digital information (paid) services that can help you find the right blogs to help publicise you work. I’ll try and find the one we paid for the release of “0w1:believe” and take a screenshot of it for you, so you can get a feel for how it works. If that would be helpful?
Hello all, I am a writer, producer, director, and educator. I've done several webinars and classes here on Stage 32 and I have a new webinar coming up next week.

What's your main goal right now, Kimela Morgan? To get the script or book done?

I don't know much about the book market, Kimela Morgan. That's a great question for the Authoring & Playwriting Lounge (www.stage32.com/lounge/playwriting).
