So I just pitched for the 4th time, and it looks like I'm getting another request for my script. I've pitched 4 times since the fall, and have had my script requested twice, and the pitch before this wanted to ask for my script but it just didn't fit anywhere in their slate. These pitch sessions are great! I recommend them to everyone.
Ahem, does your script come along with your recommendation?
Not sure what you mean

You are a one two punch, you and your script. So if we are to follow you into the pitch zone, is your script available so we at least have half the battle won? (jk).

That is incredible success! Any suggestions on what you may be doing correctly?

Honestly, I'm just following the pitch outline that Stage 32 provided when I signed up for my first pitch. I don't know if they are still sending it out to people, but if not, I'd email them about it. It's a simple doc that outlines what to touch on in your pitches, from Logline and "nutshell" to the actual story. It's a great doc, I wouldn't go into a pitch without it.

That is great! Keep up the good work.
Can I hire you to pretend to be me, we change the title of your script, and go from there? (probably a joke?)

Haha! You don't need me, you can do it. Ask Happy Writers to send you the Pitch Session form, then fill it out. Once you do, practice with a friend - pretend you are pitching to them. That's what I did and it totally worked.

I should have a copy of the Pitch Sheet, I'll take another look. Thanks for sharing, Jodi!
