What's your opinion on mentioning that one is 84 years old in a query/personal statement?

When it comes to queries if you feel it's advantageous to mention your age or it relates directly to the work then include it. For example, if you know a manager/producer/etc is seeking 40+ clients or if you've written an octogenarian love story. Either scenario would be beneficial to mention your age.
I'd rather not...in this case can be even interpreted wrongly like "gimme last chance"...
