Screenwriting : Pitch Deck by Mark TRapanese

Hi, Mark TRapanese. I've put a link to a video in a pitch deck, but I haven't tried putting music or a video in a pitch deck yet.

thanks Maurice - my screenplay is a period piece so thought some brief moments of music might help set the mood a bit better. Video clips would only be a few seconds.

You're welcome, Mark TRapanese. That sounds cool. Music and videos might increase the pdf file size, so that's something to keep in mind. If the file size is too big, the pitch deck will take longer to open for producers, directors, etc.

Hi Mark TRapanese I agree with Maurice about not adding music to the pitch deck, but adding a link seems reasonable. One of my pitches is about making music, and I have a link to the project website where a video and music are posted.

If the video is directly related to the project or its to show your previous work it’s common to have these linked to your pitch deck.
