Has anyone had any success with written pitches the drama?
I've finished my first straight drama and despite a few good remarks I haven't got any requests yet. I've put the situations, the characters and their story arcs in a page and a half pitch but I keep wondering if maybe I'm missing something.
Any keys or suggestions?

Hey, Bill Albert. I haven't done a written pitch for a Drama script, but did you include your connection to the story and why it'll resonate with audiences nowadays? Did you put the comparables in your pitch? And do you think you could go deeper into the situations and relationships?

Maurice - I gave a very brief listing of the comps and why they were similar. I wasn't sure just how much detail I needed.
The one pitch that I got feedback from asked why it was set in 1989 so the new pitch explains that the events happening then but could easily happen today helped explain how they could happen to anyone at any time. Especially important since it;s all brought together by a 400 year old similar event.
I suppose I could go deeper on the situations and relationship. I'll look at that next and see if I can add more to it without getting repetative.
Thank you

Yup, to second @Maurice Vaughn -- adding in your personal connection to the story and why the idea matters to you / how it affects you can always give your pitch a boost
