WHY A SPORTS ANIMATION NOW? Live-action sports is a proven multi-billion dollar a year franchise for networks, television affiliates, and streamers across the country. Sports is Disney and ESPN's biggest pie chart revenue maker, and since we all either follow sports on our devices or watch our kids play it on field, sports has become a relatable 90% of all home dinner table conversations. Yet, to date, there has never been a viable sports animation about battling couples and their obsession with sports.

Lil' ABOUT THIS SHOW: Sports fanatical husband Gus Travis and his sports-widowed wife Ruby, along with their mischievous ball-handling children, Trevor, Cheez, and Chip, make up the central family in this episodic animated series about couples and their fascination with sports, as they follow the serialized sports exploits and zany antics of their undercapitalized, ill-equipped, and underfed hometown football team owned by a Midwest corn farmer, on their way to the Super Bowl in a land where sports is king!

THE SEMIFINALIST SCRIPT & PILOT EPISODE—"RACE TO THE SUPER BOWL": Gus, Ruby, and the Travis kids must rid themselves of a sports squatter threatening to take their precious home, as their small hometown football team Leatherheads (pictured cartoon) take on the Giants.

Congratulations, Pidge Jobst! You said "we, so I'm guessing you had co-writers. Congratulations to them! Great title. I'd definitely watch this show!

Awesome congrats Pidge Jobst !

Thanks Maurice and Nick! Maurice, while I did solely write the pilot teleplay, animation takes a team. and we have a couple great attachments who are watching the goings-on, so "I" and the lone ranger approach have gladly and forever left the building. Additionally, I really can't think of a better compliment than your mentioning you'd "watch this show." It's our wish you get a chance to.
