PANICK ENTERTAINMENT LAUNCHES With DC, Heavy Metal Vets

There seems to be no end of new initiatives and companies getting into the Transmedia space.

PANICK Entertainment, a "new horror and science fiction content venture," launched at San Diego Comic Con with executives from DC Comics and Heavy Metal. They plan to begin with comics and graphic novels before expanding into films, TV, video games, and other transmedia projects.

As was announced last week at the Stage32 Film and Television Summit, that this is a time of global expansion in the market and production. This seems to be also true of Transmedia.

What are your favourite Transmedia worlds? What do you think of this new venture between DC Comics and Heavy Metal?

My favorite Transmedia world is Resident Evil, Geoff Hall. RE is fun and action-packed! My favorite things in the RE universe are the games and animated movies.

Heavy Metal Magazine has been a favorite since 1981's animated feature HEAVY METAL. Totally interested in what Longo and this team cook up.
