About Lukas

Writer/Director, cool thing collector.

Designed in Latvia but made in Australia, I’ve recently graduated from the Advanced Diploma of Professional Screenwriting from RMIT University in 2023, specialising in Comedy & Sitcom, TV Drama, and Feature Film. Having completed a TV sitcom pilot, TV dramedy pilot and two high-concept feature film screenplays, I love what I do, always injecting humour into whatever I write, focusing on the balance between drama, heart, and spicing up comical aspects of human nature.

I’m a movie junkie (test me with trivia!), and in the past have written and directed short films, managed cast and crew, cooked for presidents, kicked printers into submission and saved the universe on more than one occasion. But who’s counting?

Currently mentored by Australian comedy legend Tim Ferguson.
