Alex Cole & The Bigrough The band was formed by Alex Cole in 2010. When people attend a Bigrough show they can see he’s been playing rock'n'roll his entire life. The way he attacks the stage and sends his dynamic energy out to the crowd is something to be experienced! When you hear a Bigrough song it will sound pleasantly familiar and remind you of the classic hits from AC/DC, ZZ Top and Ted Nugent. Following the successful reception of their 2012 Hang On Tight EP, the band spent the next two years playing shows around Europe, with an extended international tour to California and Nevada. Since then Alex has written several songs and is working on a new CD, video and live show. He’s looking forward to scheduling a US tour to Louisiana, Tennessee, Alabama and Texas. Alex Cole: composer, lead vocals, guitar and harmonica; began his musical career at the age of twelve as a singer for various cover bands, working with Gabriele Lorenzi (formula 3) and Guido Carli (drummer of Zucchero and Irene Fornaciari). Alex has studied guitar under Enrico Santulli's (producer) and Claudio Bazzari’s (Award winning Telegatto (Grammy) blues guitar musician), leading Alex to create his own original rock’n’roll music style.
