The porter | Michael Guthire

The Porter is my second film, shot around 2006 or so in Milwaukee. Again, I wrote, directed and starred as Ralph. This was a harder shoot than The Picnic in that a) it was shot indoors so we had to build a set, b) actors seemed to be a little less reliable (my make-up girl had to fill in for a woman who dropped out the night before shooting), and c) it was far more difficult to fill in crew positions.
