RELATIONSHIP AND REFERRAL IN MY OPINION IS THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF ANY BUSINESS FOUNDATION!

You often hear me talk about struggle and relationship here at “The Art of Active Networking”. I hear some of you also talk about how important it is, but I rarely see most folks step up and make the real effort to refer each other and to build those deep and sustainable relationships. It’s almost as if they see is as a “Have to” situation vs. a “Get to” way of business. Much like Networking, I know folks who attend 3 or 4 ’Networking’ events per week, I also know that they struggle more than most people I know. I believe it’s because they can’t stop selling long enough to actually listen to the problem and help the very person in front of them. So here is what we do…we ask the question, “How can I help you do better right now?” The difference between my folks and most other networkers, is that most of my folks get it and work hard to help each other.
