Lost Angels - 2012 short film

“Lost Angels” is a poignant short film about the journey of a young woman called by God to the “city of angels”, Los Angeles. She is tested through series of trials and encounters wih those who are broken, disheartened, and seem hopeless. Through the love of Christ she ministers to them. Yet, through her own former brokenness, she is incapable of achieving success. Can she overcome her challenges and let God reach her and bring her to becoming an overcomer in Him? The film project premiered in Burbank California at the 2012 168 Film Festival www.168film.com. This was a type of “survivor” filmmaker contest! 168 hours - One week to direct, edit and submit in final form. Lost Angels went on to appear in several film festivals. Winning an award for “Redemptive Storytelling” at the Redemption Film Festival held last fall at Regent University. “Lost Angels” was featured and presented to the young adults embarking on filmmaking careers at the People to People UCLA Film and Art Summit last month. It has been shown to many churches and places the Lord has opened up. Starring T’Keyah Keyamah(“That’s S Raven, Cosby Show, Living Color), and newcomer Leslie Kunz. Single Ray of Hope Ministries produced this film. Ariel Armstrong, a first time filmmaker, was the director, writer and producer.
