As actors, we may always want to have on-camera or on-stage experiences. To have a theatre show or film release is one of the most cherished dreams and contributions for many actors at the end of their day. I know it is my life commitment to do so and give a voice to unheard charcters and their stories. But, when you are not acting, how do you still celebrate your gifted talents in dramatic arts? Recently, some of my cast & crew members got affected by Covid so I had to postpone our film shoot. In addition, my partner had a hospital emergencey for a stroke-like situation, followed by a neck injury of mine last week. Ouch! That hurts. But SO much to celebrate. We just had the launch of the Centre for Media and Celebrity Studies (CMCS) Wall of Fame film festival that is committed to celebrating even our trailers & demo reels https://filmfreeway.com/WallofFameFestival agents and managers do see us shine there. Coincidentally, the release of the trailer of my upcoming short film "The Leak" was scheduled during our recovery - I made it happen despite life and death situations and, wow, I just feel grateful for us to be alive to even make that possible. So, actors, even when you are on a break from acting, keep celebrating your footage incuding self-tapes. On that note, I would LOVE to see your trailers or demo reels so drop your links here and let's celebrate!!
