Growing up in Borno State, I always dreamed of telling the stories of my community, stories of its people, culture, struggles, and resilience. Having experienced the devastating impact of the Boko Haram insurgency firsthand, this dream became a calling. Personally, I feel a deep responsibility to document the untold realities of my people and to share their voices with the world.
