After graduating from the University of Miami with a degree in Film and Television, Michael went to work as a production assistant in the Ad department of Burdines, a Miami Based department store. It was at Burdines that he learned the business of retail advertising from the bottom up, eventually becoming VP/Broadcast Creative Director. Maher eventually left Burdines to pursue freelance directing, and his trend spotting skills were invaluable in shooting campaigns for other retailers such as Pier One, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Godiva and Clinique. The winner of numerous RAC, ADDY and Telly Awards, Michael brings a fresh sensibility to his work combining music, dynamic choreography and kinetic effects to create a modern, lasting impression.
