C.I.G.A.R. was recently nominated for 3 awards and the San Diego Black Film Festival. Best Short, Best Cutting Edge Film and Best Actor. Corruption, Intellect, Greed, and Robbery! C.I.G.A.R is the tale of friends from different sides of the track that have two things in common the local CIGAR CLUB and the need for MONEY! Falling on hard times, the time to act is now! Knowing that their favorite hangout (the CIGAR SHOP) holds weekly poker tournaments for high rollers they decided to enlist the help of a life time criminal, and the shop manager to take the game down. Like the old saying goes "there is no honor among thieves" and that saying fits this group perfectly. When one faction of the group decides to double cross another even though there is in excess of one million dollars to split, chaos ensues.
