This was a final project that I had to make with a group for my Creative Writing class during my Fall semester of my Junior Year at Ball State University. The assignment was to make a film adaptation of any story, one we wrote or written by someone else, whatever we wanted. We found a famous story by Edgar Allan Poe, the Cask of Amontillado, and we thought it would make a good edgy film. We literally filmed this in 5 hours one afternoon and I had it edited and done nearly 2 hours later. Just goes to show how simple this project was. Though I had a group working together, I mainly helped organize, direct, and shoot the film even while I was acting (since nobody else wanted to embarrass themselves playing an annoying drunk guy.) Anyway, it may not be the most gritty and edgy thing that we had set out to make it, but it still looks pretty good I'd have to say. Hope you enjoy!
