About Phil

A creative writer and language expert with a background in teaching English and copywriting, I'm currently expanding my portfolio of feature screenplays, with a focus on sci-fi and adventure genres. My sci-fi/thriller feature "The Faergrowe Principle" received a Silver Award from the 2015 AURA Screenwriter Awards, and I've done script-reading for festivals and editing for a number of productions (including features and documentaries). I've self-published two English grammar guides ("The English Tenses Practical Grammar Guide" and "Word Order in English Sentences") and two novels (dystopian "Wixon's Day" and urban fantasy "Gun City Bohemian") - all of which are available in print and electronic from through Amazon. I also publish language and writing related content on the websites "English Lessons Brighton" and "Write Right Now", and have been published on Book Machine.

In addition to my creative writing I'm an avid business writer - I've had articles published through the Professional Copywriters Network and support a range of clients with content for websites, business plans, reports and white papers. I write business writing articles through the website "Copywrite Now". I've developed a great deal of business expertise through 4 years of managing my own freelance clients and 2 years as the COO of Silicon Networks Ltd, a mobile app company supporting people with challenging life experiences.
