It was parked at the Hawaii Convention Center for a series of public events. This last stop of the Mahalo, Hawaii Sail will mark the final chapter of the Malama Honua Worldwide Voyage and will showcase the efforts by students and community organizations to restore the Ala Wai Watershed. The event was a fundraising gala at which Polynesian Voyaging Society president Nainoa Thompson shared the vision and plans for Hokulea’s next voyage.
