Anthony Calleja's Photo Aloha Friends and Family, Hope you are all having a wonderful day. I thought I would share photos from yesterday's outing. I explored Lanai Lookout on the East Side of Oahu, Hawaii. I photographed a few stills, then did a few time-lapses (I will share late), then I did a few videos. The trade winds were blowing and the weather was changing and we had some brief showers. I was fortunate and blessed to meet a photographer by the name of Tom who introduced me to the Red Tail Tropicbird. It was an amazing experience! :) The red-tailed tropicbird is a seabird native to tropical Indian and Pacific Oceans. One of three closely related species of tropicbird, it was described by Pieter Boddaert in 1783. Superficially resembling a tern in appearance, it has almost all-white plumage with a black mask and a red bill. Late took a few more beach photos of Eternity beach, Rabbit Island, and Makapuu. It began to rain quite hard so I decided to jump in my car and head for the west side of the island.
