Entitled 'Calesas in old Manila', it's by Filipino artist Gabriel Custodio - an example of the artist's mastery of impasto technique (done with a palette knife). Custodio was my mother's first art teacher when we lived in the Philippines. From my mother's estate, the art hangs in our house.
