Expand commentThis is really embarrassing. I'm not a horn tooter. I wrote the very first draft of THE STEALER back in late 1989. It's been so long that rewrites had to reframe technology references. The story itself didn't change a lot. It had pretty strong interest by a company at Universal in 2000 on one of my writing 'scouting' trips to Los Angeles. I played baseball from about the age of 7 up to the age of 16. The highest league level played was Babe Ruth in Canada near Vancouver, BC. Good baseball educators at a young age fostered an interest and love of the game's intricate strategies.
