Introduce Yourself : Theatre Producer, Director and Actor in Missouri by Ed Hanson

Good morning to all! I live and work in Columbia, MO, and I run a theatre company that I founded back in 2012 called Talking Horse Productions. We're a black box venue that seats approximately 70. Our mission is to produce high-quality intimate theatre in downtown Columbia, a thriving college town (Go Mizzou!). We produce six main shows each season, plus two touring children's shows that visit local schools and libraries. We also are becoming known for producing original works, both by local playwrights and playwrights from the outside. I'm currently reading scripts for our 2016 season! My goal is to slowly move Talking Horse toward being a professional company; we operate right now as more of a high-end community theatre. Drop me a line and say hello!
