Post-Production : Use of color accurate monitors by Joseph M. Armillas

I’d like to hear some opinions and suggestions regarding the use of color accurate monitors for editing and some color correction. I use 3 Samsung computer monitors that are color calibrated via my Spyder 2 by Colorvision. Two of them are S27A550H 27” monitors and the third is the new 4K model by Samsung, the UD28D590 all 3 are powered by an Nvidia GeForce GTX680 card . While they are all fairly accurate in representing what I’m working on, they are not truly “color accurate”. Real color space adjustable monitors by Sony, Flanders Scientific and others, start @ $2,500 which is out of my range right now. If you know of any color adjustable monitors under 1K or a clever work around , please let me know.
