Must say I'm looking forward to the new ITV Thunderbirds show (airing later this week). Big fan of the Gerry Anderson original, and I hope for the best, but I wonder how well it'll be recieved, having been redone in CGI. Will it lose some of the magic of the puppetry, model built flying craft and 'Supermarionation' that the original had to offer ...?
Hopefully it won't lose any of what made those shows so much fun way back when.
After watching the first episode I think that it DOES lack that magic, Sydney, and I'm quite dissapointed. Just because you CAN cgi doesn't mean you SHOULD cgi ...

All too often true, Dean, but like 3D everyone has to jump on the bandwagon while it still looks profitable.
