I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Suzanne Johnson. I live in Chicago but I'm originally from Jackson Mississippi. I have been a nurse for 35years and decided about a year ago to pursue a new career. I haven't looked back. While I still do medical missions, my focus has been acting. I'm staying busy with classes, auditioning and I have been fortunate enough to land roles in a few independent films. My first feature length will premiere this Fall. Very excited. I love this group for it's diversity, and accepting nature. Everyone is so supportive. I haven't run into a negative person yet. That's rare. I'm looking forward to making new friends and nurturing the relationships I have started in my first year of acting.
Welcome to Stage 32. Good luck with your big leap into the world of film and movies.
Suzanne, Welcome and good luck on all of your endeavors, the best to you.

Suzanne! Great to have you here! There are some Chicago Stage 32ers in the middle of putting together a meetup next month - it's headed by Joe Orlandino (who just had a film at Cannes) - make sure you network and introduce yourself to him!
Welcome Susan
It's working out well Victor. I have a project in the works that I will be able to talk more about in 2 or 3 months from now. I'm putting myself out there everyday and taking classes. Lots of auditions, a few short films. Pretty happy. I'm about balance in my life. I have a great marriage, beautiful kids and grandkids to spend time with. I keep my nursing skills alive with medical missions. I love acting and will be adding filmmaking to my resume this year.
Thank you Victor. You too.
