I shot my video sideways, on purpose. I have shot video sideways and upside down many times with the idea of rotating the video later in post. But this time, it won't render. I'm using Premier CC. I tried doing just a clip at a time, and they're short clips. It goes through the motions, but then says Unknown Error. Has anyone out there got experience with this?

Good question. Aside from contacting adobe, I'd try to rotate it in another program like windows movie maker or imovie or whatever.
This probably has to do with your setup parameters for your project. After that, it's just a matter of the motion effects controls.
Thanks for the responses. I haven't had time to try anything new yet. I'm working to get a new magazine out. I'll let you know when I've figured it out.
This might be too late but it may also be possible that the editor program has some corrupted files. Might be worth seeing if there is a repair function.
I output without rendering first, and that worked fine.
